Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, Post 184 displays casket flags in an Avenue of Flags at Herndon's Chestnut Grove Cemetary and holds a ceremony to honor local veterans.

Memorial Day Ceremony

The Wayne M. Kidwell American Legion Post 184 will hold a ceremony in honor of Memorial Day at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 10:00am.  This event is open to the public.  This event will be held rain or shine.
