Monthly Meeting
Monthly Meeting
Our monthly meeting is held on the third Wednesday of the Month at 7:30 PM in the upstairs hall of the Herndon Moose at 779 Center Street, Herndon, VA 20170. The meeting is open to Legion members and Veterans interested in joining the post. Invitations may be requested by emailing the Post Commander.

On Memorial Day, Post 184 displays casket flags in an Avenue of Flags at Herndon's Chestnut Grove Cemetary and holds a ceremony to honor local veterans.

Veterans Day
On Veterans Day, Post 184 displays casket flags in an Avenue of Flags at Herndon's Chestnut Grove Cemetary and holds a ceremony on the Herndon Town Green at 11 AM on the 11th of November to honor veterans and their service.
Donuts with Vets
Donuts with Vets
Post 184 members meet with residents and Veterans at Harmony at Chantilly twice a year In spring and fall to celebrate and share service stories over donuts and refreshments.

The Town of Herndon held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our nation. The event was a solemn and patriotic tribute, featuring local officials, community leaders, and student representatives. The ceremony was made possible through the collaboration of the following distinguished guests and community partners:
Host/Organizers: American Legion Post 184, led by Commander Nicolas Leshock and Chaplain Lester Flores
Elected Officials: Mayor Keven LeBlanc (Town of Herndon), Senator Jennifer Boysko, and Dranesville District Supervisor James Bierman
Community Guests: Town Council members and Guest
Presenters & Performers:
Guest Speaker Barbara Glakas, US Army (Retired), who presented on veterans from the Herndon region who served notably throughout the 250 years since the founding of the United States of America.
Herndon High School Navy Junior ROTC Color Guard
Reston Chorale.
Boy Scout Troop 1570.
