All donations made to our Post are used to support our programs to support our mission to better the welfare of Veterans and to support the local community.

• Veterans Support:  People of Herndon donate money to us in order to help veterans.  We use those donations for just that and nothing else.  

• Flags:  We honor fallen Veterans by storing and displaying over 60 casket flags.  Donations offset the costs of properly storing and displaying the Avenue of Flags twice a year in honor of deceased Veterans.

• Awards:  We recognize excellence at our local schools and within the community.  We raise funds to cover the costs of medals, ribbons, and certificates for local award winners. 

• Admin and Tech:  This website is awesome!  But it isn't free.  But it is an important tool for transparency and accountability.   Technology and normal administration costs are vital to supporting our programs to support Veterans and the community.
